[Photo by Zhang Xingjian/chinadaily.com.cn]Chinese first multimedia fashion show China Goes Pop made its debut at Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center on August 5.The show, whose theme is “Chinese Element, International Production; Chinese Story, International Expression”, integrates Chinese traditional art such as acrobatics, shadow play, mask-changing and fan dance with Broadway musicals. It portrays a young painter, who is let down in love, expressing his dispirited feelings through painting and then with the help of his friends marrying his girlfriend in the end.
